The CentOS project is officially a legal entity of Red Hat, and therefore
legal aspects of the project need to be coordinated through the Red Hat
Liaison. There is no ability for the Board or any theoretical Legal Affairs
committee to operate within the bounds of a legal agreement outside of the
Red Hat interaction. We simply reinforce that legal inquiries and aspects
fall to the Liaison to coordinate as needed.
