I'd like to see us set out a set of goals and name a responsible party to get clear and prominent messaging in place about the End of Life and End of Build announcements for CentOS Linux 7 and CentOS Stream 8 in 2024.
It would be great if we could get this posted starting in March/April to ensure our users are prominently made aware of these events at least one year in advance.
This ticket is a follow up from a conversation started at FOSDEM.

Pat will work on the initial draft to bring back to the board and then work with Bex to have common messaging
Pat's post is live on the blog, and we have notices on various pages on www pointing to it. We'll do periodic social media posts over the year to remind people. Should we close this ticket?
I'd recommend an initial set of emails to our various lists highlighting the coming end dates.
I concur let's hit announce, dev, users, and any other appropriate ML then close
