This is an annual review of the Software Collections SIG. Please verify that all the information on the SIG is correct, and determine whether the SIG is active, winding down, or needs to be retired.
The Software Collections SIG will provide an upstream development area for various software collections and related tools. Developers can build on and extend existing SCLs, so they don't need to re-invent the wheel or take responsibility for packaging unnecessary dependencies.
There's a meeting scheduled biweekly Tuesdays:
https://github.com/CentOS/Calendar/blob/main/meetings/software-collections-sig-sync-up.yaml
I haven't confirmed if this is still accurate.
Metadata Update from @spotz: - Issue assigned to shaunm
I'm not sure how active the SIG is, but there are only Software Collections for CentOS 6 and 7.
